Tan nubuck mid-height boots with Merrell's M-Select Waterproof membrane, the Ontario boot is a chunky hiker style boot perfect for hiking, walking and everyday use. The modern styled nubuck upper is complemented with a brown cuff and dark green cord laces with metal d-ring eyelets. A second pair of brown/orange laces are included in the box. The lining uses a M-Select antimicrobial lining to keep the boots fresh and a bellows tongue keeps out debris. The Kinetic Base insole is removable and offers flexible support. The heel has a Merrell Air Cushion shock absorber. A compression moulded EVA midsole helps with stability and comfort and the base is a semi-rugged Vibram Megagrip sole unit, which is made of multiple rubber compounds for the most reassuring traction underfoot. Overall the Ontario WP lace-up boot is a superb, fairly light allrounder at a very reasonable price.
